Introducing the SuperMac J700 and J710. The J700, built with the same design genius that went into the highly regarded S900, yet scaled down just enough to fit your needs and budget, features many of the S900's high-performance elements inside, such as processor upgradability to faster 604e, or even next generation PowerPC 750 "G3" processors, and 8 DIMM slots that allow you to expand to just over one Gigabyte of interleavable memory. In addition, the J700 has four PCI slots and five drive bays (2 free), giving you plenty of expansion and upgrade options, and the exclusive PCI-to-PCI Bridge vastly improves the performance of the PCI cards you do add. Two Megabytes of VRAM on the included IX Micro Video/Graphics Accelerator card enhances your monitor's performance with quick and sharp screen displays. And, as with the S900, you have the option of upgrading the J700 to a workstation-class machine with an E100 Extended Performance Card. Small business workers should also consider the new J710. The J710 features a capable 200MHz 604e processor, easily upgradeable to a faster 604e or G3 processor through its ZIF-socket daughtercard design, which Umax pioneered on the Mac platform in the C500 and C600. But don't let that familiar exterior fool you -- on the inside of every J710 is room for up to 160MB RAM, video power on par with that of the S900, a fast 24x CD-ROM, and the E100 Extended Performance Card. This is one compact performer which doesn't skimp on performance!
