Desktop Pictures
One C500-specific desktop was created for use as an on-screen advertisement -- mostly at tradeshows, although some resellers used it to customize the desktops of their showroom units as well. The C500 desktop is presented here in its original 832x624 resolution. Regrettably, no J710 desktop was ever created.

Desktop Patterns
The C500 and J710 weren't honored with desktop patterns of their own, but there are several generic SuperMac desktops which suit them. They are available within the complete SuperMac Desktop Patterns Collection, along with about 50 other original patterns. To access, simply download and the expand the SuperMac Desktop Patterns Collection scrapbook file, and then drag any desired patterns into your Appearance control panel. (You only need to download the collection once -- there's only one collection, and it contains all 50+ patterns.)

Custom Icons
A limited set of custom C500/J710 icons was created for everyone's use, but went largely unnoticed. Distributed as icon resource files, the initial icon you see actually contains several more, all accessible when the resource file itself is opened via ResEdit.
