Because this site attempts to recreate the look and layout of the original UCC/SuperMac site, credit is especially due to those who contributed to that original site and its content.
Winston Wang was UCC's Webmaster from summer '97 to summer '98. A creative and very friendly guy, Winston did a great job of balancing Marketing's needs with Quality & Services' goals to produce a home page that served both prospective and existing customers. I hope SuperMac Insider does justice to Winston's design leads.
Most of UCC's web graphics and multimedia work were originally created by Daryl Isaacs, the Wonder from Downunder. Daryl was one Aussie you were glad was on your side. His humor and boisterous personality always kept things interesting. Daryl is continuing to do great work in multimedia and design today.
The site's original Support section was fleshed out in words and pictures by David Simpson, one of the most technically capable persons I know. David and I first worked together at the original SuperMac Technology from 1993 to 1996, and he got UCC's support efforts on the web off to a great start.
The Troubleshooting Guides and many of the original photos on this site were provided by Jordan Ruderman. Jordan's near-obsessive thirst for hardware knowledge made him a tough guy to keep up with, technically, and there may have been a bit of friendly competition between us. I hope to work with him again someday.
Some additional support content, a portion of which has been reproduced here, was created by James Lee. James and I also worked together with David Simpson at the original SuperMac Technology, and he had a role in my going to UCC. James helped get UCC's first Service CD off the ground before such efforts shifted to the web. |
